LUWUK - 1st coming #3

GREAT!!! very very great..
You gonna feel so, about what I feel when you just come to Luwuk at the first time.
For me who live in such a polluted city, it was great.
The air and the atmosphere in Luwuk were very different.
Fresh air, bright and clear sky..Things I never got before.. Love it!

Another good thing, sea was in the front of Airport directly.
You know....the water was so...soooo clear..
As sea and beaches lover, I was more excited about this city.

First day in Luwuk, Pak.Dono and I explored the city, accompanied by a friend from the same company but different project in Luwuk.
Had city tour..I could see more about Luwuk..the landmark, the culture, and the food obviously.

I was quite surprised. This was my first time having fried banana with traditional chili sauce.
Looks weird but in fact, it tastes good. Another great culinary is seafood, I loved Grilled Squid the most.
Come and visit Luwuk..and you gonna fully agree with me..

Luwuk is a city located in bay area, in between sea and hill. Wonderful.
No wonder Luwuk had a great seafood.
Let me say Luwuk is the Monaco of Indonesia..haha..

Another surprise, Matahari Dept Store and KFC had been already in Luwuk..it meant that Luwuk was not that bad..haha..

I had two recommended places that is a must visit when you had time in Luwuk.

• "Pantai km 5" , a beach located in km 5. This beach is the best spot..no wonder if there was crowded. You could do swimming and snorkeling. Otherwise, You could enjoy the view by sitting in the side beach cafe and having sauced fried banana.

• "Bukit Inspirasi" , an Inspiration Hill, as its name.. you will be inspired when you were here. haha.. coming here when the full moon and you gonna have a wonderful view. You could enjoy Bukit Inspirasi only at night. There was a restaurant. So no need to worry where to enjoy the view.

This trip was not like a business trip, more to be a vacation for me. haha..I spent almost 10 days in Luwuk, and this was very great.
Time to leave Luwuk and going back to Jakarta, preparing all the things for coming back to Luwuk again.

LUWUK - 1st coming #2

I don't remember for sure, the date of my 1st coming to Luwuk.
I only remember, It was October 2011.

Spontaneously, P.Dono, my Construction Manager, decided to visit Luwuk for surveying the actual site condition.
Without any preparation, we went to Luwuk.

At that time, there were 2 air flight to Luwuk, Batavia Air and Merpati Air, and we got the Batavia Air.
The departure was Jakarta. It was too bad, we had to transit in 2 airports, 1st transit in Surabaya, then continued in Makassar.

We landed at Makassar in the afternoon, and we would have the connecting flight to Luwuk in another 1 hour.

1 hour left, yess.. lets say it was delay --"
2 hours left, still no call for my flight to Luwuk  -____-

3 hours left, finally..yesss..we got the call..BUT hell yeah...flight to Luwuk was postponed to the next day in early morning.  o.O

There was plane technical problem. No choice.
Batavia facilitated all passengers nearest hotel to spend the night. Not Bad.

The good impact of this situation, P.Dono called his best friend in Makassar to pick us for dinner and city tour. We didn't spend all night long in the city, since we had flight early morning in the next day. It was great, cause finally I could see the Losari Beach directly for the 1st time..haha..*nerd*

Flight to Luwuk was successfully on schedule
No more plane technical problem and absolutely No more delay.

The flight took about 1 hour 15 minutes. and it was quite smooth.
Not as smooth as in the air, the landing was so shocking me. When the plane wheels just touched down in land, the plane was quickly stopped and turn around. In fact, the runway was very short.
